Hello lovely parents and students of the lower school!
My name is Erin Blaser, and I am incredibly excited to be starting the school year with you all.
To tell you a bit about myself, I am originally from a suburb outside of Portland, Oregon. Growing up, I was quite athletic, and devoted my weekends to soccer tournaments and gymnastics meets. Once in high school, I still loved athletics, but my interests expanded; I found a love for sewing and painting, which although I would not deem myself an expert at, I still enjoy doing today. For college, I attended the University of Oregon (go ducks!) for my undergraduate studies, where I studied elementary education and special education. Then, I attended Lewis and Clark College in Portland, where I received my Master of Arts in Teaching. Since moving to Seattle a couple of years ago, I have been enjoying exploring this large city and learning about its interesting history. I love trying new restaurants, playing board and card games, and going for walks with my dog (and husband when I can drag him along!).
I look forward to learning more about each of you as the year progresses.
